Congratulations, we are so happy for you. Unfortunately, you cannot receive any injectables while pregnant or breastfeeding.

The treated muscle begins to relax within a few days with the full effects noticeable in 7-10 days. However, for some it may take up to 2 weeks to see full effects.

Results typically last 3-4 months although the duration may vary from person to person. Some factors that may affect the longevity of treatment include but not limited to the amount of  Botox used, muscle group injected, frequency of treatments, age, skin elasticity, wrinkle depth, activity level etc.

Some choose to start Botox as a preventative measure when first start noticing lines and wrinkles. Others choose to wait until later in life when lines/winkles become more noticeable. The treatment is minimally invasive and quick with no downtime. Most customers do very well and have no discomfort.

The cost depends on the total amount of units being used. There is an average amount of units that is usually used for each area, but even then it varies depending on each individual anatomy, wrinkle distribution, age, goals etc. We offer complimentary consultations to  determine the right treatment and amount for you.

Botox is usually very well tolerated with no side effects. However, the most common risks include, but not limited to the following: swelling, redness, bruising and minimum discomfort associated with injections, minimum risk of bleeding, very small risk of infection, drooping eyelids, transient headache, asymmetry and Botox migration. The risks will be discussed in detail during consultation.

Botox is commonly used to treat frown or glabellar lines (the “11”), forehead lines, smile lines or also known as crows feet, bunny or nasalis lines, improves the look of heavy eyebrows (an eyebrow lift). It can also be used to relax masseter muscle of the face to achieve somefacial slimming/contouring as well as help with the TMJ or teeth clenching. It is also used for neck bands/platysmal bands, smile lift (to lift corners of the mouth), gummy smile, lip flip, lines around the lip area, chin wrinkles as well as the underarm excessive sweating also known as axillary hyperhidrosis.

Neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport) work by blocking the impulses from the nerve to the facial muscle associated with the expression lines. It is most commonly used to treat fine lines and wrinkles in the face. Both Botox and Dysport are FDA approved and are used to temporarily  improve the look of moderate to severe lines.

Dysport, like Botox, is an injectable neurotoxin that is being used to treat moderate to  severe facial wrinkles. It can improve the appearance of frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. Dysport also works faster and most customers will start seeing effects in as little as 2-3 days after treatment. Dysport has fewer proteins than Botox, so the body breaks it down more slowly. It is also a good alternative to Botox for the customers who have developed antibodies  to Botox, and no longer get desired results with Botox treatment.

Absolutely. Anyone who has struggle with underarm excessive sweating knows how uncomfortable, at times embarrassing and socially isolating it could be. Botox is approved by FDA to treat excessive sweating of the underarms. The treatment is very successful, and typically decreases the underarm moisture by 82%-87%. The treatment duration varies, but on an average lasts 6 months or longer in some.

Dermal fillers are injectable gels of various consistency that are used to correct age-related volume loss, correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, lip augmentation and correction of peri oral lines. Younger clients without age-related volume loss may also choose to use dermal fillers to rejuvenate the skin and augment their natural fullness in lips or cheeks for example. Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure suitable for healthy men and women with little to no downtime. It is a wonderful preventative treatment. At BelleSoul Aesthetics we use Candela’s Exceed Microneedling system that is first FDA cleared, dual-indicated medical microneedling device that is clinically proven to rejuvenate skin and reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles and facial acne scars. It improves the overall skin appearance, texture, helps with pore size and hyperpigmentation.

For best results an initial series of 3-4 treatments scheduled 4-6 weeks apart is recommended. For maintenance we recommend semi annual or annual treatments.

Application of numbing cream prior to procedure makes it very well tolerated, with minimal pain or discomfort, all in under an hour.

Latisse (bimatoprost ophthalmic solution) 0.03% is an FDA approved prescription topical product that is used to grow longer, fuller and darker eyelashes. Latisse is applied nightly to base of upper lashes only. It works gradually, and most clients see improvement in their lashes in just 8 weeks. Full results are seen in 16 weeks.
