Our program is designed specifically for adult clients. We ask for an 8-12 week commitment, depending on the desired weight loss goals, along with maintenance and gradual tapering off. During your office visits, we will monitor your weight (including body composition), assess vital signs, review symptoms, adjust doses as needed, and track your progress with diet and exercise.
If you are interested in using Semaglutide injections for weight loss, prior consultation is required with Anna Stasiv, Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, to determine if it is a safe and appropriate weight loss option for you. Anna will conduct a comprehensive medical history and physical examination. The most common side effects with the Semaglutide Injections include, but are not limited to: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, acid reflux, abdominal pain, headache, fatigue, and low risk of mild hair loss.
Less common adverse reactions include, but are not limited to: pancreatitis, anaphylaxis/angioedema, thyroid disorder, visual changes, hypoglycemia, and acute gallbladder disease.
Contraindications: Personal & family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or in patients with Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2; Known hypersensitivity to Semaglutide; Acute Pancreatitis; Acute Gallbladder Disease; Hypoglycemia; Acute Kidney Injury; Type 1 Diabetes or Diabetic Retinopathy Complications in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes; Thyroid Cancer or Thyroid Nodules; Heart Rate Increase; Suicidal Behavior and Ideation; Body Dysmorphic Disorder; Eating Disorders (anorexia, bulimia); Pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding.
